STAYING AT The Novelist Shepherd’s Hut
Dorset Glamping With Star Gazing Window Over The Bed, Plus Hot Tub & copper bath
The Novelist is a very special double hut joined by glass walkway. It comprises of a bedroom hut complete with copper roll-top bath, plus a larger hut with kitchen, living space and TV. This will be more spacious, suitable for longer stays!
Built to suit our very specific location it is designed to make the most of our expansive views, and based around a spacious wooden deck making it very private and relaxing.
Wood-fired Hot Tub
All our huts have their own private hot tubs included in the price.
The hot tub is very private positioned right beside the Novelist’s deck so you can step down into the hot tub. I can’t think of a better way to enjoy a starry night! If we know your arrival time we will try our best to get it warming before you arrival

Kingsized Bed
All our huts have a kingsized bed – important for a good night’s sleep! In the Novelist there is oodles of space allowing the bed to face onto the bath and the views beyond leaving room either side of the bed with star-gazing roof-light set in the ceiling
Roll Top Bath
For something extra special – the bedroom hut has a William Holland copper and nickel roll top bath on a platform positioned to enjoy the best of our views.
Kitchen facilities
Craftsman made kitchen includes an induction hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, china, cutlery, and washing up facilities with Ecover washing up liquid and tea-towel. It has a fold-away breakfast bar behind the peninsular unit. Tea, coffee, oil and sugar provided. If you are not wishing to cook in there are also some lovely places to eat out within nearby Beaminster or beyond.
