Amuseables Pain Au Chocolat is a breakfast reviewer – firm on flake integrity and surprisingly diplomatic about jam. She considers breakfast an art form (and herself the toughest critic about).
Her blog, Crumbs of Truth, has a devoted readership – not least Brigitte Brioche, who’s still chasing that elusive five-star swirl. When not taste-testing at the Jellycat Patisserie she pays Amuseables Happy Boiled Egg’s breakfast club a visit, despite their ongoing dispute over acceptable toast blackness.
