• What happens on the day?

  On arrival at Paignton Zoo, you’ll be warmly greeted by the keepers ready for your giraffe encounter. Head inside the enclosure to meet and help out with the giraffes’ feeding time, chatting with the keepers and learning all about the friendly giraffes. Your experiences includes day entry to the zoo, where you can see all the other amazing animals and explore at your leisure.

  • Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (admission fee applies)
  • This experience is suitable for wheelchair users
  • There is good disabled access throughout the zoo
  • This experience takes place in an area viewable by friends/family who can watch and take pictures and videos

• Availability

  The encounter is available seven days a week. Exclusions may apply

  We recommend you book in advance to ensure that dates are available. Availability during holidays and weekends is usually more restricted – simply due to demand. All bookings are subject to availability.

  The zoo opens from 10.00 and they are happy for those with booked in experiences to arrive before their allotted time. The attendee(s) just need to ensure they are at the designated meeting point 5 minutes before the experience is due to take place.

  Please allow a full day for your visit. The experience lasts for a minimum of 20 minutes.
