Get a glimpse behind the scenes with this Junior Keeper Experience for Two at Paignton Zoo. This experience is perfect for young animal enthusiasts and budding zookeepers!

Beginning at 9.00am, be one of the first to visit the zoo before it opens to everyone else. Led by friendly guides, you’ll visit different areas of the zoo and go behind the scenes. You’ll find out all about the animals from those that spend the most time with them, their very own zookeepers! Take part in fun activities like mucking out enclosures, scatter feeds and enrichment making. The price includes a breakfast bap, drink and a Junior Keeper t-shirt for your day.

With two entry tickets to the zoo, you’ll both have plenty of time to explore the rest of the zoo at your leisure.

  • Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who can enjoy half price entry to Paignton Zoo
  • For this experience there are enclosures and exhibits that do not have suitable wheelchair or mobility scooter access so would be unsuitable for users with limited mobility
  • Friends and family can pay to enter the zoo and follow the experience around the Zoo, but will not be allowed in any areas that are not available to the general public and won’t be able to enter until the zoo opens
