• What happens on the day?

  Your ticket for two adults to The View from The Shard must be pre-booked, shortening the time in spent in queues. The two of you can enjoy the experience at your leisure, with no time restriction on your visit. You’ll take the elevator up to floors 68 and 69, before heading up to the open top viewing platform on Level 72. 800ft in the air, you’ll get unparalleled views over the city and beyond.

  On arrival at the Royal Exchange, you’ll be warmly greeted and shown to your pre-booked table in the Fortnum & Mason bar and restaurant. Take your seats and soak up the splendour of your surroundings, enjoying a welcome cocktail each as you peruse the set seasonal menu. The two of you can dine on three courses of exquisite contemporary fare, making this a dining experience that’s hard to beat.

• Availability

  The View from The Shard

  Entry can be booked on selected dates at an allotted time.  Please note that The Shard is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

  To reduce queues and ensure the best possible visitor experience for everyone, admission to The View from The Shard  will only be valid on the date and time stated on your ticket once a booking has been made with Virgin Experience Days Ltd.

  Tickets for The View from The Shard are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  Last entry varies depending on the time of year – please check for exact timings when booking. Bookings can be made between 24 hours and 4 months in advance, subject to availability, with a valid voucher.

  The Voucher has a voucher number and a pin number which needs to be quoted when booking. Your e-ticket, which will be sent as confirmation of your booking, will include a multi-digit order number to gain access into the attraction or The View from The Shard ticket.

  A standard visit lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit.

  We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
