Head over to 5* Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa for an exquisite afternoon tea. With 250 years of history behind its doors, this Grade I listed building is a tourist attraction in its own right. Boasting secluded gardens and stunning Georgian décor, it offers an oasis of calm from the bustling town centre.

Sumptuous finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, sweet and savoury pastries and delicious cakes are all on the menu, alongside a range of tea blends.

  You’ll arrive at the Roman Baths and exchange your ticket for entry. From there, this incredible site of ancient history is yours to explore.

  Afterwards, head on over to The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa for your pre-booked traditional afternoon tea. Enjoy delicious food, exceptional service and picturesque surroundings as you relax in style.

  Afternoon Tea 

  Please note: due to refurbishments, this experience will not be available to book between January and mid March 2023

  Available seven days a week with three sittings at 13.30, 15.00 and 16.30.

  We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

  Visit to the Roman Baths

  The Roman Baths are open every day, except 25 and 26 December. The opening times vary throughout the year, and include special late evening entry during the second half of June, July and August.

  January to February: 09.30 – 17.00, exit 18.00
  March to 15 June: 09.00 – 17.00, exit 18.00
  16 June to 31 August: 09.00 – 21.00, exit 22.00
  September to October: 09.00 – 17.00, exit 18.00
  November to December: 09.30 – 17.00, exit 18.00

  Please allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for your tea and at least 2 hours for your visit to the Roman Baths, with additional time to travel between the two venues.

  Please note as visitors with tickets to the Roman Baths you’ll join the online ticket queue – This isn’t necessarily a fast track, for Saturdays in July and August there could be a wait of up to 1 hour.
