• What happens on the day?

  Your ticket for The View from The Shard must be pre-booked so you can arrive and make your way to the attraction, shortening time spent in queues. You can enjoy the experience at your leisure with no time restriction on your visit meaning you can take as long as you like to soak up the breath-taking views. You’ll take the elevator up to the indoor viewing platform on Level 69 and if you’re feeling brave, up to level 72 for a spectacular open-air platform.

  As part of this experience, you’ll also enjoy a three-course meal lunch at Gordon Ramsay’s Savoy Grill. Soak up the elegant surroundings as you dine on three courses of exquisite British fare from a daily-changing set-menu.

  • For the purposes of entry:
    Adults are deemed to be over 16
    Children are deemed to be between 4 and 15
    Children aged 3 or under are admitted free of charge
  • All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
  • There is disabled access to The View – please check for full details at the time of booking

• Availability

  The View from The Shard

  Entry can be booked on selected dates. Please note that The Shard is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

  To reduce queues and ensure the best possible visitor experience for everyone, admission to The View from The Shard  will only be valid on the date and time stated on your ticket once a booking has been made with Virgin Experience Days Ltd.

  Tickets for The View from The Shard are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  Last entry varies depending on the time of year – please check for exact timings when booking. Bookings can be made between 24 hours and 4 months in advance, subject to availability, with a valid voucher.

  The Voucher has a voucher number and a PIN which need to be quoted when booking. Your e-ticket, which will be sent as confirmation of your booking, will include a multi-digit order number to gain access into the attraction or The View from The Shard ticket.

  Savoy Grill

  Your voucher is valid five days a week, from 12.00 to 15.00 on Monday to Friday. Please note this experience is not available on Key Seasonal Dates – these include Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

  November and December Bookings – redemptions in November and December may be subject to a Festive supplement which will be payable on the day. The amount paid on the day will be the difference in price between the regular and Festive version of the set menu per person – please check at the time of booking.

  We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

  A standard visit The Shard lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit. Please allow up to 1 hour 30 minutes for your meal. Please allow adequate time to travel between the two venues.
